 BANDS:
The Calicoes - Psychobilly from Texas. (Velvet Blue Music)

 The Deluxtone Rockets
                           - From MI; rockabilly, jump blues, and swing. (Tooth and Nail)

Havalina Rail Co. - Never bound to one style,
but they often include a healthy dose of Rockabilly and other Americana styles on each album, especially their first, self-titled,
album (Tooth and Nail), and their most recent, "American Journey" (Jackson Rubio).

 Ruby Joe
                           - R.I.P., but they put out two great albums! The first, "Sinking the 8 Ball" has a hard alternative edge, the 2nd,
"Hot Rod Deluxe" is straight-up rockabilly with the horn section of Royal Crown Revue dropping in on a couple of
                           swing tracks. (Sub*Lime)

The Screaming Rays - "Swingabilly" w/Crystal Lewis & co.! (Metro
                           One)

Stateline 55 - a tight trio from Oregon

This Train - a pop vibe with roots and nice
                           shirts

The Wednesdays - Quite punk, but with an Alabama drawl
 (Jackson Rubio)

Compilations: "Jackson/Rubio's Rockabilly and Western Gospel Hymns" - The essential Rockabilly Gospel recording. From a remake
of Kitty Wells' "I Dreamed I Searched Heaven" by the infamous Spivies, to the haunting "Train 13" by Havalina,
from Ruby Joe's arrangements of two classic Spirituals, to the traditional County "No Depression" by Burnside Cadillac,
this album has 16 golden tracks that no fan or interested person would want to miss. Many artists, many styles, one message.
Extremely hard to find in stores -- you can order it from the link to the right. Not to be missed!
"Life on the Boardwalk - Swing, Surf & Rockabilly" - Despite the title, there's not too much Rockabilly here,
just "Rock, Rock, Rock and Roll" by Warp Factor 9, which is pretty much just that - rock, and "I Told You I
Would Write!!!" by The Janitors. Nevertheless, this is an EXCELLENT album as far as the surf aspect is concerned. (See
link at bottom of page for more surf rock info.)
